• 한글 학교의 목적
1. 케임브리지 한글 학교는 한국인은 물론 모든 외국인에게도 열린학교입니다. Cambridge Korean School(CKS) is open to all community members so as to contribute to the promotion of cultural diversity with programs designed to meet the needs common to most ethnic minority groups in Cambridge and the East of England.
2. 케임브리지 한글 학교의 목적은 한국어로 한국의 문화유산, 예술, 전통을 케임브리지와 주변에 사는 한국에 뿌리를 둔 아이들에게 전수하는 것입니다. The main aim of CKS is to provide the teaching of the Korean language, art, culture and heritage to the pupils with a Korean ethnic background from nursery to the secondary school level.
3. 케임브리지 한글학교는 비영리 자선법인체로서 최소의 수업료로 고질의 교육을 제공하는 기관입니다. The CKS is a voluntary supplementary community educational organisation.
4. 케임브리지 한글학교는 이중언어를 사용해야 하는 환경에 있는 아이들을 격려하고 지원합니다. The CKS encourages and supports bilingualism of children from minority communities
5. 케임브리지 한글 학교는 한국이라는 같은 문화적 배경을 공유한 아이들끼리 서로 배우고 놀고 이야기할 수 있도록 지원하고 권장합니다.The CKS provides a warm, supportive and encouraging environment where these children can express themselves in their native language, work and play with their peers who share the same cultural background.
6. 케임브리지 한글 학교는 학부모들의 적극적인 협조와 다국문화에 대한 이해와 상호소통을 통해 집단 소속의식을 향상시키고 서로 협동적인 활동을 적극 권장합니다. The CKS provides support for children who experience difficulty in following their courses at school or in adjusting to the educational system in England because of the language and cultural barriers.
